Extension

The Extension, Sports and Culture Directorate aims to develop policies and strategic actions that qualify extension, sports and cultural actions not only within the boundaries of the campus, but also in the Municipality and surrounding cities. The strengthening of extension actions aims to expand the campus participation in society, in the roles of partner and transforming agent in its area of influence, in addition to seeking, in loco, through these actions, the demands of the community to foster and develop “ACTION research” according to the real needs. The organization of sporting and cultural events are proposed by DirEC as tools to promote integration, the dissemination of the IFMG Campus Bambuí, leisure and the training of the community involved. These actions are developed according to criteria based on the principles of quality, relevance and trends in future transformations.
